Description
The Optimasa OPT3295 brake pads are a front axle set for the Audi A3, VW Golf 4, 5 and 6, Jetta 4, 5 and 6, Polo 9N (2002-2009), Caddy and Beetle. Check your engine code and year in the list below first. One box covers both front wheels. Optima pads are made in Durban from a non-asbestos compound, and each pad is slotted and chamfered.
OPT3295 Brake Pads Overview
Front pads do most of the braking work, so they wear out first. Squealing or grinding, a longer pedal, a brake warning light or pads close to the wear limit all mean it’s time to replace them. This set is a direct replacement for the original front pads on the vehicles listed below. Pad shapes change between generations, so match your engine code and year before you order.

Fitting Notes
Replace the pads on both front wheels at the same time. While the wheels are off, check disc thickness and run-out, and replace the discs if they’re below minimum or badly scored. Bed the new pads in with moderate stops for the first 200 to 300 km, then check the brake fluid level. If you’re not sure, have a workshop fit them.
